Text Entry Without Losing Focus

I wanted to share a workaround (not for everyone!) how to implement text entries without losing focus. My business problem was to monitor the user's entry as they're typing because I had to enable and disable a button based on the text entry. Out of the box, the Storyline variable associated with the text entry will not get updated until the field loses focus (you click somewhere like a button).

This "hack" is a workaround. Limitations are included in the short blog. Source is SL 360.
