Misplaced cursor with numeric entry fields
I have a learning module with several short software simulations. I'm using numeric entry fields to simulate where the user would be entering numbers in the software. It was working fine, but now that I am publishing for final QA, the cursor isn't lined up with the entry field. So when they enter the number, it's in the right place--but the cursor is half a line below that! Given the software is data entry software with a lot of lines, this is a real problem. I can't move the numeric entry fields, because then the actual entry won't be lined up right. The cursor was previously (a couple weeks ago) positioned correctly, and I haven't moved the fields. I'm sorry I don't have a picture--screenshots don't capture the cursor, and I don't have software to record my screen outside of Storyline.
Can anyone help?
OK, finally figured out that this is something with my screen(s). Both my laptop and my monitor are showing the cursor in the wrong place. But I had two people test in our LMS, and it's showing correctly. I don't know how many users will have the same issue I do, but I don't know what else to do but move forward.

Some things to try:
Zoom: If the slide is even slightly zoomed (e.g., 99%, 101%), the cursor can visually drift while the text entry stays correct.
Set the slide zoom to 100%
Re-preview and test again
Font: Cursor misalignment can appear if the font metrics change.
Open the numeric entry field
Confirm that the font hasn’t changed and the font size is a whole number (not 11.5, etc.)
Try briefly switching to a common system font (Arial, Calibri) to test
Browser: If this only appears in published output, make sure testers are not using browser zoom ≠ 100% or OS display scaling ≠ 100% (Windows especially)
Try testing it in another browser.

Have you updated Storyline or anything else changed in the last couple of weeks?

I have not made any other changes--I've literally been out of office for the holidays and haven't touched it. So I totally don't get this. I'm going to go in and try the things you mentioned above. Thanks!

I have tried changing the font. No dice. They are all set at whole number sizes (different sizes in different sections of the simulation). Note that this is happening in every single numeric entry field in the CBT, and there are 13 of them across five simulations within the CBT.
Not sure where to check slide zoom in Storyline?
My browsers are both set at the usual 100%, but this is happening not only in Chrome and Edge in my LMS but in preview mode within Storyline as well. I'm trying to find someone else to test in the LMS, but lots of people are still out for the holiday. It was fine in Review 360 two weeks ago.
As noted a little while ago, I have not changed anything. I haven't even been in the office, so the file hasn't been touched in a couple of weeks.
