I am trying to publish a .story file in Word, but it will not work. Everytime I try to publish the course, it tells me "Congratulations! The course was published successfully." but when I click "View Document" I get an Articulate Storyline Error Report. Any thoughts?
On the publish window you selected a location to publish to. If you open that location in your file manager (outside of Storyline), can you find the Word file and open it that way?
It is publishing to my C drive; however, after it says Congratulations and indicates that it is done publishing, there is no folder and when I click on View Document it gives me an Articulate Storyline Error Report message

What happens if you go to the folder with the document and try and open it from there?
The folder does not appear after publishing.

No, I cannot. When I publish it, it does not produce a folder or a specific area for where the document should be at.
Take a look at the first screenshot in this help article, Publishing a Course to Word. What is the setting for the "Folder"?
That's where your published output will be placed.
