Unable to change format properties in publishing

Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you are experiencing when publishing your courses.

Since Adobe discontinued Flash, we removed the Flash publishing options from Storyline 3. Courses no longer have specific launch files for HTML5 and Flash output. Give your learners the link for the story.html file, which launches the HTML5-only output in their default browsers on desktop computers and mobile devices.

If you previously published courses before this update, you will still see the options, which explains the difference you are experiencing. For consistency, choose HTML5 only.

Therefore I take it that under the publishing properties that it does not provide the "format" option with the new update. 

Would this also apply to the Articulate Mobile Player? Previously you had the option to select this function in the format properties.

You are correct, Robert.

This applies to and includes Articulate Mobile Player (AMP). Since AMP courses relied on Flash output, this feature was removed when Adobe discontinued Flash on December 31, 2020.
