Unable to Insert Image in Rise

I am not able to insert an image in Rise.  When I attempt to do so, I can see the browser working but the image never successfully uploads and appears in Rise.

Here is what I have already tried:

  • jpg file
  • png file
  • Using Chrome
  • Using Edge
  • Tried after clearing history in both of the above

I don't know what else to try.

Hi John,

Sorry to hear that you ran into this snag. 

I'd like to ask a few questions to help clarify your experience. 

  • Is this your first time accessing and working on Rise 360?
  • Has your network team added Articulate 360's endpoints to your organization's allowlist? 
  • Does the issue happen regardless of which image file is used? 

If all image files are affected, your organization's network security might be blocking the upload to Rise 360 from completing. You'll need to reach out to your IT staff and have them unblock the upload on their end in order for you to be able to successfully add images to Rise 360.

Thank you for your response.

I have been using Rise for about 6 years.

This was happening with all images.

After about 3 days of not being able to upload images, it spontaneously started working on some images but not others.  The images in question are both .png and .jpg.

It is working well enough now for me to do my job but it is slightly frustrating.

I didn't think to check with my IT department, thank you.  I will check with them.
