Video Compression Help

Hello, 

When I come to export an Articulate Storyline project as a SCORM file, I get the option to customise the video quality. I understand that I can use the customisation scale from 1 to 9 (1 being lower quality, 9 being higher quality) but I am not clear on what difference the scale makes on the size of my file.

Is there a rough guide I can follow when making this decision? Obviously the overall file size will depend on how many videos are in my project but it would be good to know roughly what difference there is in file size between option 1 and option 9 on the scale. I can then make some rough calculations about the likely overall file size.

Any help appreciated!

    Hey Alex,

    I'm not sure if that information is available anywhere (it might be).

    You could try publishing a file with just one slide and one sample video in it, and then publish it to varying degrees of quality, say 1, 5 and 9 to see the difference you get?
