Why can't you adjust rows in a table flexibly???

Sep 01, 2023

Yet another frustration and counter-intuitive element in Storyline. For whatever reason, Articulate restricts you from adjusting the height of the individuals rows within the table. I have to adjust them individually because I can't simply scale the whole table to a certain height and then distribute selected rows appropriately? What gives? Why is this so anti-straightforward?

EDIT: Absolutely, absolutely love how I can slightly adjust the height of one row with the exact same font and font size and not the other? Distributing 3 rows just increases the height, which...I obviously don't want to do...

EDIT: Also absolutely love how you can't include tables inside of states for whatever reason, or else they'll just be invisible. Just some unspoken rule, I guess...

EDIT: Get this. I have to take a screenshot to get this garbage working. I can't simply add a wipe animation where all objects just smoothly transition. One is doing its own thing while another is off on timing. Just lovely, smart design here, folks...As you can see, I've illustrated several counter-intuitive examples among many others...
