Cool example, Ashi! Can you share this example in this week's character animation challenge: https://community.articulate.com/articles/animated-characters-in-elearning It's a great example!

This is awesome. I am new to articulate so I am still trying to learn everything. Can you tell me how you did it? I see you used different images of the mouth, did you create it yourself or did you modify the picture (hopefully that makes sense)

Hi Priscilla, I've created the mouth actions in PowerPoint and used them as an Image in Storyline. PFA PPT for the mouth actions.
As for making them talk in Storyline, I've adjusted the images in timeline so they appear in the specified time (as you can see below) making it look like as if someone is talking:
If you have any other query, please let me know.
Have a nice day!

Awesome! Thank you! I do have one more silly question - when you said created mouth actions in PPT, did you create your own mouth or did you just take an image from somewhere
- AshiTandonCommunity Member
I've created them in PPT from scratch using various shapes :)

Hi Ashi,
Your method helped a lot in creating different scenario slides. It it possible to do the same for photographic characters?

Hi Mahammad! I agree! Ashi's method is super helpful! I don't know of a way to do that with photographic characters since those aren't created using shapes, but there are different methods you can use to make it look like the photographic characters are talking. This video tutorial shows how to accomplish something like that. I hope that helps!
