Hi All, I am trying to try create a headshot link to a short audio message from a content expert in RISE. Is there a way to do this or will I have to create in power point, import to Storyline and then upload into RISE?
Many Thanks,
Dave
PS Would prefer to create directly in RISE if possible.
Hey Dave! Are you looking to include a headshot image with the option to play audio? If so, you can use an image & Text block and an audio block together to create that effect. Here's an example of what that could look like.
If you're looking to do something else, can you please share a little bit more detail?
Yes I have suggested similar with a quote block above or else cropping headshop into square as we want to put a series of quotes in from the same person so need to keep image small. Ideally it would be a button of the person’s face, about the size of the button stack button. I have seen this as an example lesson on Articulate 360 (created in power point I think) which the learner would like in to hear content expert speak (audio). I have a feeling I need to create this in storyline and then upload into RISE course.
Hi Dave! Do you remember what course you saw the example in? It does look like something you might need to create in Storyline 360 and insert as a block in Rise 360.
This is the blog I was looking for, thank you so much ! I skimmed through, can you use this button to play audio in RISE? It looks like a button stack but I think I have established that audio recordings with this shaped button would have to be done in Storyline and imported. Is that correct ?
There are three versions in the example. The second one I left more white space on the bottom to accommodate the player. The third one I added text since there's no video/text block in Rise.

The other option is to use a Storyline block in Rise.
Thanks so much Sarah,

Thanks Sarah, I think there was a lesson on here about creative use of power point to create buttons yes I think for use in Storyline
Here's a post I did on creating those graphics. https://blogs.articulate.com/rapid-elearning/powerpoint-tip-graphics/

It's a button stack.
Here's an easy way you can do something similar. I added my image to a PPT slide, added audio, and saved as video.

Hi Tom,
I had a play around and these were the best ways I could combine headshots with audio in RISE.
