Quiz reports in LMS

Jul 19, 2022

Hello there!

I need help in making a quiz that will be published to an LMS and it needs to track answers and send a report to the LMS.

There will be a total of 25 questions related to a few topics. Think of it as a group of questions. For example, 5 groups of 5 questions. So, it can be thought of 5 sub-quizzes in one main quiz. The learner doesn't need to know that there are groups of questions, and the result that displays on the result slide should be a combined one.

But when it reports to the LMS, it should be clear how many questions were answered correctly from each group of questions.

The LMS is moodle-based.

Has anyone ever tried anything similar? Can it be done?

Why build the quiz in Storyline for this? Moodle's quiz functionality is pretty robust, so you can set up a question bank with categories and subcategories. Personally, I would probably just use the LMS to build this, rather than struggling to make Storyline report that way when you already have built-in functionality that does what you want.
