Does anyone have good resources on HOW xAPI actually works? To a certain extent, I understand WHAT it does and how it is different from SCORM, but I can't seem to wrap my head around how it works. Mostly on the side of tracking things offline.
Some resources I've seen will talk about an "I learned it button" installed on a browser or a "book scanner" to track that a book was read, but these sorts of things don't seem universal and therefore wouldn't reach large audiences, I would imagine? What am I missing?
Any good resources that really clarify this would be super helpful! Thank you!

Although I'm no expert, I wanted to chime in and share this resource that gives an intro to xAPI and links out to some more detailed information. Hopefully, the community has more resources and experiences to share on the topic.
I also echo participating in the xAPI cohort that Hianna linked to. It's a great way to learn more and do some simple projects and also connect with other people who are working on things and discovery a better understanding as well.
