Localization

We use Localization heavily. Including the tool built into Rise. Is there some way to make the localization possible at some point?

I made a simple quiz that has built in language support as a workaround for now. It works but I wonder if there will be extra work is this quiz needed updates, changes, etc.

The only issue I ran into is that I don't think the code block supports a completed state yet? I added a Rise continue button and tried to gate it until the quiz was completed but I could click the button and skip the quiz entirely.

Overall the block works very well so far! I might try and push it more at some point, but for now, it's pretty cool!

  • Hello directordeek,

    Thanks for reaching out!

It’s great to hear that you’ve found a creative workaround when using a Code Block with a custom quiz that includes built-in language support.

We appreciate you pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with our tools. Your innovative approach helps us better understand real-world use cases and how we can continue improving.

Currently, Articulate Localization isn’t supported when using a Code block. The feature is still in development and will continue to receive updates during the beta phase. Functionality may evolve over time based on feedback and feature stability, which means some options may change or be removed.

Please don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything else.

  • Thank you! Localization is a priority for our team. We hope to use the example Code blocks shared here and via our feedback survey to inform what that solution can look like.

  • This would be fantastic, but I'm not sure how it could be done within Rise...you might need to have the HTML translated outside of Rise and then import each translated package into the localized courses manually.
