  • Hi All,

    Interactive 3D PDF example

    To use:

1: Open attachment (should open in your free Acrobat Reader) ** Sorry Apple does not support 3D in their PDF Reader

2: Left click-n-Drag on the Object in the middle of scene.

    3: Use the controls provided

Typically technical training or trade courseware is usually lacking highly engaging eLearning and can resemble eReading. Maintenance manuals and ‘Safe Operating Procedures (SOP) documents usually contain step by step instructions along with a range of static line art imagery enviably in different positions to show the participants the critical aspects – one 3D object can replace all these static images.

The 3D PDF model can have an infinite number of views, preset perspectives, zoom, look inside, hide and isolate parts and show line art and wire mesh representations. Users can adjust lighting, background colours, textures and materials, part transparency can be changed along with multi-angle cross sections. BTW: It works within AP

    Enjoy
