Accessibility and Modern Player Previous and Next Buttons

When background changes (to the modern player) are necessary and desired for a project (instead of light or dark) the next and previous buttons are not ADA color contrast compliant. Is there any way to change the colors on the built-in "next" or "previous" buttons to meet the WCAG minimum standard contrast compliance necessary for accessibility?

We are required to use the modern player but I cannot find a way to make the contrast on the next and previous buttons acceptable to meet the minimum WCAG (AA) contrast compliance.

I use the Colour Contrast Analyser (CCA) to test.

Thanks

    Hi

I have similar request.  I've been asked to define the next/previous buttons in the modern player for accessibility (ie bold or border around text). Could you advise how I can do this?

    Thanks.

Dorothy, What I've been doing is enlarging the buttons (and changing the font to a bolder font) We only have to follow the WCAG AA level not the triple AA, and the contrast with larger and bolder sans serif font should pass that AA level- The other thing to do of course is make your own buttons.

WCAG 2.0 guidelines are categorized into three levels of conformance in order to meet the needs of different groups and different situations: A (lowest), AA (mid-range), and AAA (highest).  Nancy
