Accessibility-Click To Zoom

I am trying to ensure a Rise course is accessible and just read that “enable zoom on image click” can be a real pain for users with screen readers.
Turning that option off, though, could make the course less accessible for those who have visual obstacles but are not using a screen reader.  Using giant images instead would create a clunky experience for the base users.

Looking for advice to find a suitable middle-ground.

  • I would turn it off. Learners who have visual obstacles but are not using a screen reader could still zoom in on their browser to see the image larger, or may very well already have the browser set to a zoom greater than 100%.

Another vote to turn it off. It creates extra tabbing for keyboard-navigators, and can be a confusing user experience on mobile when the learner accidentally taps the image.

Some of the interactive blocks do not allow you to disable this feature, unfortunately.
