Accessibility of Scrollbars
Hello everyone,
Happy to share that we've just released a new update for Storyline 360!
In Build 3.106.35838.0 we’ve included essential fixes and new features. One of the bugs we’ve fixed is:
- Textboxes displayed scrollbars that weren't keyboard accessible when a text spacing browser extension was enabled in Google Chrome.
Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You’ll find our step-by-step instructions here.
Please let me know if you need additional help.
Hello! Just wondering if there is an update for this in the works? The scrollbars that appear with accessible text still seem to be not keyboard accessible.

Hello Vic! I was running into the same issue with scrollbars until I updated my version of Google Chrome. After that, I was able to navigate to and select the scrollbars using they keyboard. Do you mind updating your browser and testing this again?

LaurenDuvall can you and StevenBenassi confirm that this issue was fixed? Thanks.

LaurenDuvallI updated my Chrome just now and it still isn't working. When the scrollbar receives focus by tab or arrow, the screen reader announces blank but I can't seem to select it and I can't move the scroll bars with the keyboard.
It also seems that the screenreader/keyboard ignores the scrollbars completely when they appear on a checkbox or radio button that is part of a quiz interaction. They don't receive focus at all.
This is with NVDA.

Hello TheOGMike and Vic! Since I'm not able to reproduce this issue on my end, it would be helpful if we could see both of your project files. Could you both share those files with our Support Engineers in a support case? Please also share which screen reader version you're using so they can test that with your file, too.
