Accidentally deleted a course from the system

Hey Phil, I don't think it is. I tried using this delete option on one of my old files to see if it went to the trash and no such luck.

No I did not put this on a Flash drive as back up.  It does not show up in a recycle bin....and yes it was permanantly deleted.

Sorry to here that Kathleen. I feel your pain. I had that happen to me once many years ago and since then have made sure to back up my work. 

I didn't even know that delete featue was part of Storyline. I don't like that it removes the deleted course completely - why would they do that?

Thanks for your kind words Nancy!  I have already started it over.  I am thankful I had the script written in a Word doc, so at least I have that to develop off of.

This isn't helpful for what you've lost, but one of the things I recommend to folks is using some type of synchronized backup. If you can do it, a Dropbox or Sugarsync account will really save your britches 

I work directly from a Dropbox account and I've reverted files on several occasions. It's a huge lifesaver for those oops moments. "Doh" is the sound of enlightenment:P
