Activating subtitles / Closed Captions by default
Yes, please please please! That would be a great feature! +1 🤩

Hello FelixFranke,
Thanks for adding your support! It's helpful to know this capability would be valuable for you as well.
I can see how having captions enabled by default would create a smoother experience for learners, especially when captions are intended to be used from the start.
- What types of learners or training do you create where having captions turned on by default would make the biggest difference?
- What impact does requiring learners to turn captions on themselves have today?
Thanks again for taking the time to add your perspective! We appreciate you sharing your voice with us.

Hi LucianaPiazza,
thank you and sorry for my late reply. To answer your questions:
We are an international company but we do not translate all training into a dozen languages. So many colleagues follow training in Emnglish who are not native English speakers. For them, it is often a great help to read along. In my experience, this is especially the case for Asian colleagues like Chinese, Japanese or Korean (but also others).
To be honest, I am not sure how many people use the CC feature. I have recently created a series of training modules with a lot of videos. That was where I came across the fact that CC cannot be set to be "on" from the start.
Thank you!
