Add more Markers on Labeled Graphic
Hi,
I can only see 2 markers on labeled graphic. Where can I add more markers? I can't find the option to add more.
On your Employee Health and Wellness sample course, it has more than 2 markers.'
Hi Bianca, here's a visual demo of that process!

Hi LindaMathewes - What are the steps you are currently taking to try to add markers (labeled graphic)? From the graphic, 1. Click on the edit (pencil icon) 2. Click on graphic to add marker to the graphic. You can also change the marker style by scrolling down within the selected marker on the left side (MARKER STYLE). You can update the image by clicking on the EDIT button located in the bottom center of the image in Rise.

Several have enquired about adding numbered markers beyond "9" but I haven't seen a good response to this. I need to use numbers as it's easier when referring to specific call-outs but find myself stuck in certain use cases where I must exceed 9! In fact, for one project, I need at least 12. Seems like an easy update to accommodate!

How to add 10 and more in marker style?
Hi Calinda and HR Denmark,
Currently, marker styles don't go above the number 9, but we're tracking requests for this feature. We'll add you to the list of users requesting this, and we'll update this thread on any updates that can help!

From all the comments I"ve read here, it seems this feature is essential for interactive images as is the need to be able to make the markers larger. When might that happen?

how do you add double numbers on the markers?

Also weighing in, here, that this workflow is not even remotely intuitive, especially since to add more buttons in a button block, or to add more items in a list, the sidebar menu provides an "Add item" option (which serves as an instruction). I, like others for years here, (apparently) was looking for this conventional 'add' feature. You could simply add an instruction in the sidebar in the 'Edit' window below the intial 2 markers provided (i.e., in the same location as the "Add item" instruction in other places) to the effect of, "Click on image to add more labels". Since people will see that instruction when the 'plus sign' icon is active, it should be more readily evident that that's what one is supposed to do. As it is, there are no instructions at all for adding a new label.

Hi Kim,
Detailed instructions are in the user guide: https://articulate.com/support/article/Rise-How-to-Use-Labeled-Graphic-Blocks#Step-3-Add

Thank you for this question and video. I was struggling to add additional markers as well.

Chalk me up as another who Googled to find out how to do this. Could a simple instruction line be added to the interaction: "Click image to add a marker"?
Hi Bianca, here's a visual demo of that process!

Hi there,
I have followed the video here, however when I click my image to add a new marker, nothing happens - any suggestions?
Thanks!

Hi Bianca,
Click Edit on the left side of the Labeled Graphic block.
On the left edge you should see a list of the current markers.
To add a new marker, move the cursor over the image.
The cursor should change to a plus sign.
Clicking anywhere on the image will now add a new marker at the current cursor location.

Thanks very much Karl - I have tried that, however it won't create one - I will raise a ticket.
Hi Cormac! Rise 360 was designed to be a rapid e-learning development tool, so it doesn't have all of the customization features you'll find in Storyline 360.
Many e-learning designers strike a nice balance between rapid development and creative customization using both tools! When Rise 360 doesn't offer the customization you're looking for, that's the perfect opportunity to design your own interaction in Storyline 360 and embed it in your Rise lesson using a Storyline Block.
For example, Ashley beautifully integrated Storyline 360 interactions into this Rise 360 course about climate change. Hopefully that will spark some ideas for you!
