Adding a Different Name to Author Field?
Hey, everyone!
I have a bit of an odd question. My supervisor does not have the Articulate 360 App on her computer, yet is somehow convinced that, if I add her name in the "Author" field of a Storyline course, she'll have the ability to view the source files. That sounds absolutely incorrect to me. I would think that she would need to have Articulate installed on her computer to view any source files. Am I wrong? Does the "Author" field provide some sort of feature that I'm unaware of?

Nope, your supervisor is wrong. The author field is just part of the additional project information, like email, duration, keywords etc.
Just meta data, although I would humour her and do what she asks for.
If your supervisor doesn't have Articulate 360, what good would "source files" do her anyway? "Viewing" a Story file gives little information that you can't get by just using Review 360, or am I missing something?
If she doesn't have a license, does she even know how to read, say, triggers and states and JavaScript?

Thank you all for your thoughts. You really just confirmed what I already thought to be the case. She just seemed awfully insistent, so I figured it best to confirm.
