Adding a layer to a Hotspot quiz slide
Hi All,
I'm trying to add an additional layer to my hotspot quiz question, where the end-users will click on a certain area of the slide in order to show this layer.
However, Storyline acknowledges this as an attempt by the user, any help would be appreciated :).
Hi James,
Thanks for reaching out!
You'll want to use the 'Player submit button' to submit your answer in order to prevent the quiz from recognizing clicks as a submit action. Here's where you can change this setting in your question slide:
And I've attached a demo file so you can see how this options affects the clicking behavior on a hotspot quiz slide.
Let me know if you have any questions!

Hi All,
This is great Joe.
It does not give me the interaction that I was hoping for for the learner, but it can be address by letting them know to make their one click count ;-)
I was hoping that I could constrain the "clickable" area where an answer is possible. This way I could have a safe zone to place a custom Submit button.
Erik
Glad to help!
