Adding "Continue" button to Rise Quiz
Hello.
I have a lesson that comes after a Quiz to wrap up the module and thank the student for participating. However, there is no way to add a "Continue" button in a block for a quiz.
I do not want my students to be able to navigate freely using the sidebar, so I have that options set to "Closed."
Quizzes are considered "lessons" so why is there no option to add Block functionality? This feature was just rolled out for all other lesson types just last week, so how did Quizzes miss the cut?
What are my options here? I do see that others have asked the same question in the forums but I am on a tight delivery schedule and need to have this addressed ASAP. I also see a workaround that someone offered using Storyline, but I do not want to go through that unless it is absolutely necessary.
This feature should be in Rise.
Thank you.
Dave

Hi Alicia! You shouldn't have to disable to sidebar menu to see the Continue button on the quiz results screen.
Would you be willing to send us your Rise 360 course Share link so we can take a closer look at your setup? If that works for you, you can send it privately by opening a case here.

I'm having the same issue as everyone else. A continue button at the end of the quiz is necessary. I want the course to end with the quiz and then the user is directed back to the course. A lesson after the quiz should not be necessary. Please let me know if this is possible.
Hi Lynsay, if the quiz is the last part of the course they will not be redirected to the course lesson sections unless there's a lesson after the quiz. We understand how this can be helpful and are tracking requests for this. If we have an update for you all, we'll reach out here.

I would like to add my request that the "continue" button (in the same format as the rest of the course) is available even WITH the sidebar. This seems doable and would allow for consistent navigation and knowledge of where one is in the course. I don't want to have to choose between a sidebar and consistent "continue" buttons.

I'm running into the same problems almost three years later. Has a continue button or text block option been added yet?
Hi Rachel!
You can select the continue button style on the quiz settings page, as shown below.
Then, preview the entire course, or view the course from the Share link. Let us know if you have any trouble seeing that continue button!

Hello,
I've been trying this all morning. My settings exactly match the screen shot above. Navigation is turned off in the Themes area. When the Continue button appears, and I click it, a blank page just hangs there. This happens in Preview and Review 360. What am I missing? Please help!
Thanks,
Pam

Thank you so much, Alyssa! I was looking for a divider block and didn't realize that it was part of the quiz block. It was driving me crazy! And I got your message just in time before I published my course. Thanks again!
Hi Pam,
I just wanted to add a quick note: it looks like your email signature came through when you replied via email. You can remove it by clicking ‘Edit’ below your response. Here’s a quick Peek 360 video if you need help!

So... Help! If a learner completes the quiz and just navigates away (or logs off) will an LMS still capture the Rise Quiz score and show it as complete?
Awful UX, but still need to know.
Hi Rachael! The Rise 360 course sends the learner's quiz score when the learner reaches the quiz result slide. This happens as soon as the quiz result slide for the specified quiz displays, not when the quiz result slide is closed. Read more about the quiz data sent to your LMS here: Rise 360: Quiz Data Sent to an LMS
Please let me know if that answers your question!

Thanks,
No, this doesn't really solve the issue or fully answer the question.
It does help to know that the results are recorded, even if the learner is stuck and just navigates away to escape.
I would like the ability to add a more noticeable exit button to the end of the quiz, or a continue button , etc. The escape "X "is not the best UX.
The solution I've come up with it to add another entire section that is nothing but an exit button, since this gives a chance to review also.
I like Rise, and I hope you're adding features and de-bugging.
Thank you,
Rachael
Hi Rachael! Would you mind sharing a screenshot of the escape "X" you're referring to? That will help me get a better idea of what you're seeing and offer some alternative ideas. Thanks!
