Adding number variables

I was working through the webinar on number variables and was wondering if there was a way to add number variables over multiple slides.  For example,  the practice file has you create a number variable with hours worked.  If I had a learner input hours worked on several slides, how can I have a final slide with all the hours they have worked for a month or a week or whatever time period?

    You can either update the same number variable on several slides (aka use the variable as a running total), or have separate variables for each slide, which then get added to the total on the final slide.
