Adding scoreboards to games

I wonder if someone out there might be able to help me?

I have a client who would like to create a series of 5 or 6 games that will be emailed out during a 1 month period. In an ideal world they would love a scoreboard that keeps track of an overall score. 

My first question is... is this possible? and would the scoreboard be built separately in articulate or something like Excel and then sit on an LMS or weblink for all to access/view? 

My second is... if it is possible, how would the individual games link to the scoreboard?
