Adding timestamp to Storyline window
Do you know how to add the time in Storyline so that the user will see it in each slide? I mean at the top of the window like the example attached.

Hi Vered,
Please take a look at the attached story file and screenshot for your query.

Thank you! i'm familiar with this option. However, i'm looking for a progress bar with a timer which tracks the learner's progress in the slide, not just counting back...
Is there such an option?

Hi Vered,
I am not sure if storyline has a slide timer. I have created a simple progress bar. However you could take a look at these links.

Hi Vered,
Storyline doesn't have a built in progress bar outside the seekbar which would be a slide specific element as described here. You may want to look into a few of the progress bars shown here:

Hi Joe,
Storyline doesn't have an overall timer built in, although you could enable a quiz timer to start on your very first slide. It would appear in the top right corner with a little circle icon and the timing element.
Here is a bit more information on how to enabled that (Storyline 2 - but you could also do it in Storyline 3 or 360).

Can we please get articulate to fix this? I don't understand why this would be difficult to calculate. You are already providing a seek bar with "progress" being displayed (but no timestamp!?). And we're able to jump back and for on the seekbar per slide. For content creation this is extremely helpful and frankly necessary to indicate where on the slide a change needs to take place. This is HUGE for articulate review when a client is reviewing a course to say where (using a time indication) something needs to change. Also it would permit learners to at least know how much time has passed and remained on the seekbar. Why have a seekbar at all if you don't know the time on the seekbar?
This feature alone is forcing us to use presenter instead of storyline. :( We really really want to be able to use Storyline instead of Presenter. Please make this change.
I know there are a ton of threads on this one :)
Thanks Thanks for sharing some insight here, Key Learning and in a few other discussions. I can share it with our Product team.
Also, feel free to detail your experiences more through a feature request or bookmark that page for future ideas. Thanks!

Hi Ashley,
Thank you. Have they done anything about this? I have another project where I have like 4 podcasts in a course and each one is about 45 minutes long. There is a quiz at the end of each course and for the feedback we'd like to tell them where in the podcast to find the answer. Is there any news on having some sort of an option for a timestamp for even each slide?
Hello Key Learning,
I wanted to share some information about how we manage these feature requests as that may be helpful.
That being said, I'm not seeing any official requests and just a handful of threads that seemed to be remedied by either the quiz timer or a custom progress bar.
I'm going to pull some of these conversations together so that we can take a look at the user's requesting this feature and track it a bit closer. Thanks for reaching back out and letting us know you still have a need for this feature as well as a use-case.

Thank you! I appreciate you looking into this. It's been a big thing for us
and I'm sure for others.
