AI Audio and Localization
I would put my narration script for the AI text to speech in the Notes panel for each slide. Copying and pasting everything from the closed captions seems very time consuming! If your narration script is in the notes, then you can just right click on your AI text to speech audio wave in the Timeline, delete what's there, and press the copy from Notes to update.
I assume that part of the reason it does not auto update the audio file is that Storyline would have no way of knowing what voice you want to use. For example, if you used the AI voice Laura for your English audio, even if Storyline translated the English audio into French, you'd still have Laura, speaking French in an American accent. A voice from the Voice Library like Audrey, who has a French accent, would sound much better!
I did what you recommended and put it in the Notes. The unfortunate thing is for a long course, it is a big pain. Hopefully, they are able to do something about it. Thanks for the tip.
