Applying a Pause/Save/Resume Function To Courses

Hi everyone,

I'm quite new to Articulate and I am currently designing an eLearning course in Storyline 360 which is to be integrated to Moodle version 3.9.13+ as the chosen LMS. I have the buttons I need, but I can't seem to figure out which trigger needs to occur to enable this interaction between Articulate and Moodle, or if it's even possible. To provide clarification, I do not wish to pause/save or resume a video or animation within a course. I want to pause the entire thing, to pick up once resumed from Moodle/Articulate. Any clue on if this is possible and how to do it if so?

Thanks in advance for all your insights!

  • On player settings choose> Other > Resume

    Then publish as a scorm

    Thanks Phil,

I have it set as above. To have this available through scorm, do I need an exit button on each slide now to allow 'on restart: prompt to resume'? How do I initiate restart?

  • Hi Ayesha,

The prompt to resume will appear automatically when a learner is relaunching a course that he/she has viewed previously.
