Articulate Storyline Embedding into SharePoint

Hello!

I am a long time user, but I rarely post - this one has been driving me crazy.

I know there are a lot of old threads out there regarding embedding Articulate stories into SharePoint, but with all of the updates to both products in recent years, maybe the solution has changed.

I am trying to embed a simple story created in Storyline into my org's SharePoint site as an iframe. I have published the content for web, uploaded the files to the Document Library, changed the story.html to story.aspx using Visual Studio Code, and copied the link to the story.aspx into an embed iframe code. When I do this - SharePoint displays that it cannot generate a preview, and prompts the end user to download the aspx file. After downloading, nothing appears! I have also tried just leaving the story file as .HTML - this also does not work.

Appreciate any help or walkthrough anyone can give me.

  • Hello, same issue here.

When we were on sharepoint 2016, the .aspx thing worked, since we migrate to the new version of sharepoint, .aspx files are downloaded and html files display the "storyline wheel" load endlessly.

The result is the same with a direct link pasted in a browser or in a iframe.

Does anyone have a solution ?

  • Following - it's like going down a rabbit warren, trying to find a solution. Has anyone had any luck since this original post? I would love a resolution too!!
