audio file not visible in timeline
My audio file disappeared in the timeline. I need to replace an audio file and I don't know how to do it without seeing where that file is. Does anyone know how I can get it to show up in my timeline again?

Hi Ciana,
consider...Perhaps the audio file was already deleted? When you preview it, does the audio file play? Is the audio file on a layer? What happens when you upload the new audio file? Do you get conflicting audio?

The file has not been deleted. When I preview the slide the audio plays. I need to replace the audio with another one but can’t because I can’t click on the wave form because it’s not there.

I don’t have layers for this slide. And I tried adding another audio and the audio overlaps.

I did not use any trigger.

You could try recreating the slide with the new audio

You could attach your .story file here, and let someone take a look at it.

Had similar issue. It turned out my MP3 was hiding in an object state, so didn't appear on main timeline. Recommend:
- Go to Media Library
- Find the audio file in the list and select it.
- In lower-right corner above "INSERT AUDIO CLIP" the exact location of the MP3 is displayed, such as "Base Layer > Text Box 1 > Normal.
