Audio Not Playing in Edge & Chrome During Slide Navigation and Revisit (Intermittent)
“I’m facing audio loading issues in the Review 360 link. The audio is not playing when I move to the next slide and then return to the previous slide. It also fails to load on the first visit for some slides. The issue is inconsistent—sometimes it works fine, and sometimes it doesn’t. It works properly on desktop most of the time, but the issue occurs on laptops and occasionally on desktops as well. The issue is observed in both Edge and Chrome, but it occurs more frequently in Edge. The course was developed in Articulate 360, and we have not encountered this issue before. The project contains a total of 82 slides in the Articulate Storyline file, and Text-to-Speech AI Voice Over (V3 Beta) has been used. The Storyline file size is approximately 425 MB. Could you please help identify the cause of this issue? Also, let me know if any settings need to be configured.”

Hi Skildsolutions! Thanks for all the details! Intermittent issues like this can be tough to pin down, and there are a few different factors that could be contributing here.
Course size (around 425 MB) combined with Review 360 streaming can sometimes lead to media loading hiccups, especially when navigating between slides. Edge can also be a bit more sensitive with audio playback compared to Chrome. And if your slides are set to “Resume saved state,” audio doesn’t always replay consistently when revisiting a slide.
When you have a minute, it may be worth trying switching a few slides to “Reset to initial state,” adding a tiny delay before the audio starts, or testing a published web version to compare with Review 360. If it only happens in Review 360, that is usually a good sign it is more about streaming or performance than the file itself.
