Audio not playing on layer

I had this same problem and it was indeed that the layer wasn't showing. I tested it with a triangle like suggested. The fix was easy - I just deleted the trigger to show the layer from the base layer and then placed the trigger again. I hope you've since figured it out and tried again. This was helpful.
