Best way to animate a dial as fluidly as possible
I'm looking for a way to fluidly animate a dial-like gauge. I know that a dial can be animate with its variable, up to even +0.01 to make it move cleanly.

Interesting question.
I got it to work by adjusting the variable using triggers on 2 layers that switch back and forth every 0.01 sec. See this in action in the attached file.

By the way, I'm glad you mentioned 0.01 sec. in your post. I originally tried using "end of timeline," with the timeline as short as possible. But that's only 0.25 sec., which made the movement jumpy (and much longer). Using "when timeline reaches 0.01" made it work.
