Button Not Showing Layer
Hi, I have a button that refuses to show a layer. I've checked my trigger, and it is set to show the layer once the button is clicked. However, it's not working. I've deleted the button and re-entered it, and still nothing.

Troubleshooting is just guessing without seeing the .story file. If you upload it, someone might be able to solve the issue.
Here are the best practices for uploading a .story file:
- Only include slides that are related to the problem.
- Be sure objects, layers, motion paths, and variables have meaningful names.
- If there is proprietary content, replace or delete it. For example, replace proprietary text with “ipsum lorem” text.

I wish I could share a video but it's propriety information. These are the triggers of the buttons. When I click the final button and it shows that layer, I want it to jump to the next slide. As you can see, the top trigger says to jump to next slide once all buttons are visited. Do I need to add anything extra to that trigger or change it for it to actually show the last button's layer before jumping to the next slide? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Rachel, re: Final layer cannot be viewed.
This, I assume, is because the button state changes to 'visited' when the button is clicked, which means the trigger "Jump to next slide when all buttons are visited" is initiated on click rather than when the viewer has viewed the last layer.
There are a ton of ways to make happen what you want to happen, from creating customized states with applicable triggers and/or variables.... Here are a few examples using variables that explain logic: 1. What do you want to happen, 2. When do you want it to happen, 3. How to make it happen. The post offers downloadable .story files to explore triggers and variables and can be tweaked to Jump to Next slide when...

Hi, ChablisRachel-W!
As Judy stated, it would be helpful to see your file. If you prefer to share it with our team privately, you can do so through a support case. We'll delete it from our systems once troubleshooting is complete.
