Can Rise Review Comments go to Manager / not owner?

As a course manager of 80 courses I have provided Review links to our SMEs. I am concerned all of their comments will alert the course owner rather than myself. Will they go to the owner and not to the person (manager) who created the review link? ps - I know I can read their comments if I click the same link the SME does but I do not want the owner to be alerted even if they are set up as hourly or daily, etc.

Articulate, we NEED better course management functionality, having to request someone in the team to transfer each and every course based on who is reviewing it is incredibly inefficient and un-necessary. It's not evident who owns the course either as you still have no team folder sharing functionality. For large L&D departments in 2023 this is not working and needs urgent prioritization. Listen to your user base, show understanding and empathy toward your customers and give us the features we need to improve our workflow and efficiency.

        Hi Matt,

Not sure why you are addressing your comments at me as I don't work for Articulate, but I agree with your comments.

  • This is an interesting twist. I recently transferred ownership of a course to one of my Designers. As the new owners, she re-designated me as a Manager, and then sent a Review link of that course to our client. The clients comments are coming to me, and not my Designer. Any ideas why?

      Hello Matthew,

Thanks for reaching out; happy to look into this for you. Can you please have your designer check whether the notifications are muted for the Review item? Here are the possible notification settings:

I'm looking forward to your response!

  • Hello! I am experiencing this as well. The course owner designated me as a course manager in the course settings. My notification settings in Review 360 are set to "All Activity: Notify me of any activity", yet I am unable to see comments left by others.

      Hello Terri,

I'm happy to help. I ran some tests with a sample Rise course published to Review 360 and confirmed that comments should be visible and that course managers should receive email notifications. As initial troubleshooting, please confirm if you're using the latest version of a supported browser to access the Review 360 course.

If the issue persists, could I have you connect with us in a case so we can determine what's happening? We'll reach out soon after we hear from you!
