Hi all!
I also ran into this error today, working locally. No network drive. So this problem seems to exist for over three years now!
Fortunately, I could rescue about an hour of work by "saving as..."

Sorry for the trouble. Thanks for sharing that you are working locally. As my colleague Becca pointed out above, this error message could indicate corrupt elements in a file.
