Cannot see layers I added in base layer in preview!

hi,

this is probably easy to answer...

but Ive just started on Storyline 360.

I had a go at creating my own course and I built a base layer with an image to click on various hotspots and show layers etc..

I want 3 layers that are there from start and once clicked on will vanish and text appears

The problem I have is that NONE of these layers are showing from the base layer in preview.

I want 3 layers to show 'on top' of the base layer but I cannot work out how to make them visible from the start of the base slide!

    Create triggers:

    Show layer 1 when timeline starts on this slide

    etc.

    If you want all three to show at the same time, new layers default to hiding other layers when they open. You will have to go to the layer properties of each one, and change that.
