CC turn on by default on videos with CC in Articulate 360
I have a course with many videos with CC and I need the Close Captions are turn on by default on videos. I tried to set the variable Player.DisplayCaptions
with a trigger however this didn't works for videos but just for audio files, Any suggestions?
Hello Wilfredo,
Happy to help!
I tried testing this on my end and I can confirm that the captions will display by default if you have a trigger that sets the "Player.DisplayCaptions" variable to true. I've attached a sample project file that demonstrates this behavior, and here's a published version of the course for your reference.
Since the captions aren't displaying as intended for you, would you be willing to share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case so we can take a closer look at what's happening? We'll delete it when we're done testing!

Hello,
Do you need to set this trigger on every slide for the captions to work for the entire video?
Hi Mirella,
I'm happy to jump in! You only need to set the trigger that sets the "Player.DisplayCaptions" variable to true on the first slide, and the captions should be enabled for the entire course.
If you require any further information, please let me know!
