Changing Next to normal after slides are visited

I set up my images on a slide with a visited state for each of 4 images and set my next button to show when each image has been visited.

change the triggers as follows - I have only done the Next button repeat on previous.
The when is - you want to test the conditions when the timeline starts.
Yay it works! (of course!). I don't understand why you have to test the when. Wouldn't it just work immediately if you didn't have a when - as the way I originally did it? Isn't the implied "when" when you visit each one?
