Object state does not change to "Visited"

Hi Everyone! 😀

I know that the topic is not unique or new. However, I spent 2 hours and didn't find any solution or clear explanation.

The issue is very "simple": my object states do not change correctly. I am using Hover -> Selected -> Visited states on my objects (not Buttons).

After shifting to the next object, the "Selected" state of the last object stays the same and doesn't change automatically to the "Visited". The only way it changes is by clicking again on the object, which doesn't make sense.

There is probably an issue with triggers or slide settings, but I'm still struggling with this issue.

If anybody can clearly explain how to rectify it, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks a lot in advance 😀

  • IgorFozyekosh a couple of things I recommend.

As you are using the "selected" state, you should also make sure the buttons are in a set (select all buttons > right click > Button Set). This will ensure that only one button will be selected within the set at any time, exposing the "visited" state when not select.

The selected state override the visited state, however, if you add an extra element to the "visited" state, such as a tick icon, this icon will show as soon as the button is selected, even when the other states are being displayed (hover, selected).

      Hi SamHill /Team!

Thank you very much for your prompt assistance and advice!

The explanation is obvious, and the "Button set" function worked for me.

      Once again, thank you!

      Regards, Igor 🤗

You either have your 3 objects in a button set and then one of them will always have a Selected State, or you just delete the Selected State of all 3 objects so each of them automatically change to Visited State upon click. You cannot have both a Selected and Visited State active at the same time on an object.
