Changing Scene number and sequence

I am a fairly new user of Storyline and wanted to know how to change re-number scenes and rearrange them. I have created scenes for slides which should come in later in the course. now w...
So the community can see the fix. I had to save a copy of my file in another location. Then in the original files I deleted scenes 2 through 8. Then I Imported each scene back in, in the order I wanted them. Then to check and see the if the order was changeable, I cut and pasted a scene.
It was strange, but some how the original file was bad.
