Comments Disappearing After Submission in Review 360
It's still happening and I had to bear the consequences of that behaviour of Review 360. Which were not pleasant... Two different stakeholders reported that their comments are missing. They were on Edge browser. Well, at least two that decided to write about it. How can I operate as an e-learning developer or instructional designer when core functionality of Review is not working?
It's a bug reported for almost a year, and you cannot find the root cause? What are we paying for? That's unbelievable. I cannot go to all my SMEs and tell "please post a comment and make sure after a 5 minute break that it's still on the platform for the leading market software ok? Or come on let's have 30 minute one-on-one session with 20 SMEs to see if everything is working as it should. Yeah we are paying thousands of dollars yearly but this is RANDOMLY NOT FUNCTIONING so you know, please be mindful of the feelings of the big corporation." That's a joke.
That's yet another core functionality of articulate that is not working and yet another time on forums that you state you cannot find the issue. How does it even look? And like many times with Articulate, you keep adding some new functions instead of fixing years-old bugs. I'm starting to think about switching to another tool alongside with 50 colleagues from my company, because slowly I start to loose trust in all the tools you are selling, as they are randomly broken to the core.
There's not a single place beside forums that you will find any information about that behaviour. Not a single place with "steps to take care of". Instead, I must see that on forums themselves, after explaining to some senior stakeholder in my company why he/she has just wasted 2 hours of their time. You treating it like it's a minor issue, while this can cause terminating a contract with me. Should I revert to taking comments as screenshots in a word file?
Please explain WHY this is happening. You had a year to investigate and a few support cases, based on this thread solely.
Hi MateuszSzuter-e,
I completely understand your frustration, and I'm truly sorry for the impact this has had on your work and the relationships with your stakeholders.
While our engineering team continues investigating the underlying cause, we're reviewing each reported occurrence individually to gather additional information. I've opened a support case on your behalf, so we can work with you directly and test the affected Review 360 link.
You're in excellent hands working one-on-one with our support engineers, and they should be connecting with you soon.
