Compatible Screen Reader

I rarely but sometimes stumble into situations where NVDA only recognizes "main landmark" and "blank"; but it can usually be resolved with shutting NVDA off and relaunching the course. I have not been able to replicate the situation in order to report any issues (and I've also had this issue with Adobe PDFs). Generally, I have no issue using NVDA to screen-read/navigate the course or other materials. I recommend giving it another go. Don't forget to use the arrows to navigate, not just "tab".

I think I've managed to get it to work now - thanks. It wasn't highlighting the areas on the screen when I was using the arrows, so I assumed it wasn't reading it. The settings for this tool seem pretty complicated! This is my first foray into using Screen Readers, so it might have been a case of not knowing what to expect.

-Yes! It took me a while to get the preferences where I like them. Practice makes it more fluent, but its a skill and needs to be developed.
