Complet the content above before moving on

Hi All,

I have a link to a discussion forum and another link to an activity in our LMS using the interactive > button option. I would like these activities to be mandatory, but when I preview them, the "Complete the content above before moving on" option changes to Continue from the process activity.  Does anyone have a workaround?

    Those links go outside of Rise thus Rise has no way to collect whether or not that has been completed. So the continue button will assume the activity above is completed.

    • A potential work around is to provide some instructions that tell them what they need to do. And then after the embedded content add a checkmark and some sort of validation on the continue button. 
    • Another common solution is that people will add some sort of validating question as the way to advance. Watch the video and answer a question about the video.
