Complex Math Equations
Hi! I'm creating an Advanced Functions course via Articulate Storyline. Is there a way that I can allow students to type complex mathematical equations in slides or maybe at least insert a part where they could draw the equation?

That sounds like a great approach! A drag-and-drop equation builder with adjustable values could work really well for this project. Using text entry for references is a smart idea to make it more interactive and flexible. Thanks for sharing your experience—it definitely gives some useful direction for building this!

I just wanted to share that we're tracking a feature request for support of mathematical equations in Storyline. I've included your voice in the request and will update this discussion if it makes it onto our Feature Roadmap.

I created a project similar to this years ago for a different employer, so I'm afraid I don't have a file to share; but what I did was create a sort of equation builder. All of the fancy symbols were available at the bottom of the page as drag and drop items, and then had to be assembled into place. I could imagine a situation where you are using text entry references to adjust values, if any are in play. I hope that helps you get on your way.
