Connecting line and arrows?

I am looking for a way to connect two lines to each other in Storyline, so they become a single object. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Regards,

Dave

  • I fourth and fifth what Dave and Jonathon are requesting here! :)

Would be great to connect lines to make one object for scaling, formatting and selecting.

  • Hi Mohit,

Welcome to the E-Learning Heroes community! ✨

We love hearing your feature requests because they help us understand what will be useful to you. Here's how we handle them:

    • First, we check if there’s already a way to do what you’re asking. If there is, we’ll let you know how.
    • If not, we determine will this feature meaningfully improve the experience of working with our software? Will it benefit a majority of users? If the answer is “yes!”, we bring the request to our product development team.
    • The development team evaluates feature requests alongside their queue of bug fixes, new features already on the roadmap, and other projects. If a new feature makes it onto the roadmap, our team tests it, and we share the news when it’s ready.

If you need help with a specific project, please share it with us here or privately in a support case and we'll be happy to take a look!

  • 2023 and I too am in the same pickle.  Our company focuses on the development of logic and flow diagrams that make extensive use of elbow connectors.  The instructors who design these are all conversant in PowePoint. We translate that work into viable online training material.  We spend a lot of time reworking all the slides with connectors that work.

  • Hi Mark,

Thanks for adding your voice to this feature request regarding elbow connectors in Storyline 360! It’s not currently on our feature roadmap, but I’ll be sure to update this discussion if our team decides to reroute.

Thanks for the update, Eric. I thought this might be the case. We just licensed SL 360. It is disheartening for our company because we use diagrams with connectors extensively.
