Continue Block Button not working as intended in Rise 360

This may take some programming know how, but here is my issue.  

I am using Continue buttons to move to the next block in the training site.  The user must finish one block before moving to another.  This is fine, I use either the Complete the block directly above" or :Complete all blocks above" options.  However, my problem is that some blocks require the user to download a document.  I cannot figure out how I can ensure that the user downloads the document, so it triggers the continue button to become active.

The documents are in a Multimedia/Attachment block.

Any ideas?
