Copy/Paste Images from one story to another
Is it just me or has someone else also seen this issue. When I copy an image from a storyline file and paste it in another story file, all I see is the placeholder for the image. The image does not appear. Is this a bug or is there something wrong in my installation of storyline.

This issue has re-appeared in the latest update 8: 1605.515 . Can anyone else confirm ?

Which issue Nicholas the copy/paste issue or the can't open a second instance of SL?
Also Update 9 of SL2 has been released

Thanks for the response Wendy. Opening a second SL2 is fine, the copy/paste isn't working. I will try the update and report back.

Are you utilizing the latest update to Storyline 2, which is Update 9? This will also repair your software as the functionality is working for me. Just let me know the result.

This issue of not being able to copy an image from one .story to another just popped up for me. I only get the placeholder in the second file. I uninstalled and reinstalled and am on Update 10. Any ideas?

Hi Bob
try updating to the latest SL2 update11 and see if that makes a difference. I do this process all the time and haven't had an issue.
Do you have both .story files on your local drive and not from on a network drive - that can sometimes cause issues.

Thanks, Wendy, for the quick reply. I actually am on Update 11 (October 2016). I do have both on my local drive. Not sure what is happening...I've been able to do this without problems until just this week.

Then I would do a SL2 repair and see if that works - if not, you may need to log a ticket with Articulate support engineers to help you out.
