Course Completion Trigger in Storyline 3

We use storyline 3. One of my colleagues said he had to add course completion trigger from storyline 360 to storyline 3. If I open the project, I can't find the option to use the trigger for "complete course" when timeline starts for last slide. How do we do that in storyline 3.
Do we need to do this. Won't the course get marked complete when we click on FInish course which uses the exit course button (and use the Complete/incomplete status) while publishing the storyline file?

The course complete trigger is only in Storyline 360, unless you open a storyline course with the trigger already in and then it will work when published.

The "complete course" trigger is only available in Storyline 360. Functionally speaking, this trigger isn't a requirement to send completion data to your LMS. It's only used for sending a completion status to an LMS via the use of a trigger.
Don't worry if you don't have access to it. As long as your course meets the completion criteria set in your publishing settings, it will still send the course completion data.
