Custom Theme Colors Differ Across Team Members
Greetings!
I am sharing a Storyline project with my team members, and the custom theme colors differs between my computer/account and my other teammates.
- The name of the custom palette is different. On my computer, it is named "Training - Color Palette," where as on my team members' computers, it is appear as "Training - Slide Title."
- When I right click on the custom palette, I am able to see the Edit and Delete options, where as those options do not appear on my team members' computers.
I'm unsure why this is happening. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi MarkBusch did you save your version of the theme and then share it with the other team members. Sorry, I'm probably telling you how to suck eggs here:
Save Current Theme… to a new file and then share the file with your team members. They can then import through the Browse for Themes…

Great question! I have not gone the Save Current Theme route. I'm simply sharing a .story file between multiple team members. When they select Colors, the name and permissions of the custom palette are different. Is there something I did to alter those permissions/name on my end?

It might be worth raising a support ticket for this one, if you don't hear from somebody else in the forum's.

If you share a storyine file it generally doesn't keep the theme or palette names (I don't know why). Perhaps it is different if you save as a template.

When you save a Theme, it will be stored in %AppData%\Articulate\Storyline\Themes. You can save it to your Downloads folder as well. You can share this file with your team members. When a team member opens a .story file, they should import the received Theme by going to the Design tab on the ribbon, opening the Themes drop-down gallery, selecting Browse for Themes, and then choosing the shared Theme file.
