customise likert scale
Hi All,
Not sure if this is the correct place to post but thought someone would have some useful advice. I have added a question to a slide using the likert scale option. I have added 3 answers but the bubble which displays these answers (which pops up when you hover over it) but I would like to customise this bubble. The size, colour, font etc.
Anyone know how to achieve this?

Hi Wayne. Thanks for sharing your needs. The likert scale is built into Storyline as you see it, and there isn't a way to customize those bubble captions. But I can totally see the value of being able to customize, or eliminate them. It'd be great if you can add your thoughts in to a feature request for our product development team.

it's been 3 years and we have no new options for the likert scale? I've submitted a request, but that does not solve the current issue.

I'd also like to add my vote to this feature request - could you tell me more about adding a support to a preexisting request? It seems it would be more efficient to upvote a request that's already on there versus adding a new request. I have a large corp client who wants to remove that hover altogether.

Is it possible to customize the number of options in the Likert scale? I'd like to have a Likert question with three points rather than five, with custom hover scale points.

Good question; I'm happy to share some insight into it! It's possible to customize the number of options in a Likert Scale by going to Form View -> Scale and then deleting or adding scale labels. You can also customize the hover scale points by editing the scale labels:

I changed the scale labels, and clicked ok, but when I go to Slide view, my second label is missing. Why does this happen and how can I display it??

It's hard to determine why the second label is missing without seeing your project file. Do you mind sharing the .story file in this discussion or privately in a support case? We'll take a look to see what might be causing the snag here!
